About Us
At the Oberg and Larsen chiropractic office we offer help to patients of all
ages and abilities, children as well as adults. We provide careful diagnosis,
and if needed, gentle chiropractic treatment.
Chiropractic is an approach that uses no drugs or surgery.
Our bodies are designed to heal naturally. Sometimes they may need the help
of a chiropractor. Chiropractic care usually involves “adjustments” that carefully
help restore proper movement and positioning of dysfunctional joints. This can
relieve stress on muscles, ligaments, and even nerves.
Our Doctors
Dr.
Oberg was born and raised in the Tri-Cities. He graduated with his Doctor of
Chiropractic Degree in 1973 from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport,
Iowa. In 1974 he opened his private practice in Richland. He regularly attends
continuing education classes and has earned diplomat status from the American
Board of Chiropractic Orthopedics. He is a fellow in the American College of
Chiropractic Orthopedics. He has worked as a consultant with the Department
of Labor And Industries, for various insurance companies, and several local
attorneys as well. “I love what I do”, says Dr. Oberg. “Sometimes just helping
people know how and where to get help is its own reward.” The word doctor means
teacher, and I especially enjoy helping patients understand how their body works.
Dr. Larsen has been a practicing Chiropractor in Richland, WA since 2002. He
graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 2001 from Palmer Chiropractic
College-West in San Jose, CA. He was raised in the Tri-Cities. Dr. Larsen did
his undergraduate studies at Washington State University with degrees in Mechanical
Engineering and Biology. These degrees give Dr. Larsen a unique understanding
of body mechanics as it applies to stresses in the spine. Dr. Larsen is at heart
a student. His enthusiasm for learning is evident with the continuing education
courses he attends. He loves what he does and cares about the needs of each
individual patient. His goal is to achieve optimal improvement with minimum
office visits. Dr. Larsen says, “I feel the best way to achieve this goal is
by educating the patient about their condition, proper treatment, and teaching
preventative techniques.”
